My Philosophy

A little bit about my style and philosophy:

I love documentary style photography. With that in mind I strive to create opportunities for those real emotional moments while still offering you plenty of guidance and direction to look your best. I love to capture the natural joy and playfulness of families and children connecting with each other.

My second focus is beautiful locations with stunning lighting. I carefully prepare in advance and scout locations so that we have the best spots and the best lighting for the time of day we are shooting. That typically happens right around sunrise and sunset. It's essential to shoot at the right time and place to capture those beautiful tones. For this reason also, it is important to book early since I limit my shooting times to those optimal windows.
